I went from the old Armour to T3. After getting rid of the Rt3, I did lose weight, 22#. Since then I found out my Ft3 was way to high and reduced to 75 from 105mcg and now taking 80mcg of cytomel. I have only gained back 2# by reducing. From how tired I am feeling though, I do not think I have found my correct dose. Will find this out on Tues.VeniziaSubject: Weight loss etc, question for those who switched from NTH to T3?To: RT3_T3 Date: Thursday, May 6, 2010, 12:32 PM

Hello all

I see a lot of people switch from T4 only crap after identifying RT3, but are there many here that switched from natural thyroid? I was doing well on it until Jan 2010 and have now developed an RT3 problem, so need to switch to T3 only.

I am wondering have those that switched from NTH to T3 lost weight. My main symptoms to come back are weight and feeling the cold.

Thanks!

My experience is a little different. I gained weight on newly formulated

Armour, lost it again on NT, then gained very rapidly and much more on T3 only.

Haven't lost it yet after 6 months T3 only.

Gained it on T3 and one day I hope to be able to lose it. Nothing I do seems to make the weight disappear but I feel better.

It is another form of sugar. Nutritive or not, it is stil lsugar and

thus NOTY good for Diabetics. I am on insulin, and ALL sugars are out of

my diet pretty much. The probel with eatiugn a LITTLE sugar is it causes

cravings for sugars.
