I have not seen people do well on the 5-5-5-5 dosing. I developed the

higher AM cortils dosing schedule to fit what people responded to best

and it seems to work for most. There is alot of room for individuality

in it though and I amn sure there are some people thta the even dosing

would work for.

About the ACTH stim test. He probably takes them OFF HC for a couple

weeks before testing. It CAN be done though it is often painful and

makes the people very ill.

Would that be (permananently) dangerous? Or would it be painful

bt not permanent dangerous as he seems to only advocate HC treatment

to 20mg - whereas some here go up to 30 or even 40.

I think hje would wean them slowly down to test. And I am betting in practice he

would advocate more HC if needed but in a book that MANY other doctors and

patients will read it is very hard to be held accountable for possibly over

dosing people.
