Guest guest
Just read the book, darn good info. If only every doctor would read it. I am however a bit confused about a couple of things. With many of the case studies he performs ACTH stim tests on people who have already been on HC for a year, two and even more. It has been drilled into me that you can't do the stim test if you are on ANY type of HC (Isocort, grandulars, HC). How would the test he ran on this patient come out properly? This is very confusing. He also has most people on 5-5-5-5 a day of HC. Not the higher to lower rhythm that most people her do. Is this pattern (let's say 12.5-7.5-5-2.5) something that came from experimentation? I can't imagine everyone would be able to sleep with 5 at bedtime. I haven't seen anyone on either this group or the realthyroidhelp board take 5-5-5-5. Any thoughts especially on the whole ACTH stim test?
