Guest guest
DEXA BONE DENSITY: 11/06/07 2.3 (OSTEOPENIA) DIAGNOSTECHS 12/7/07: 7-8AM 16 Normal (13-24) 11-Noon 35 Elevated (5-10) 4-5PM 15 Elevated (3-8) 11-midnight 2 Normal (1-4) Cortisol Burden: 68 (23-42) WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? DHEA 2 Depressed DHEA (3-10) Cortisol-Dhea Correlation: Stage 3 If she was on HC these tests mean nothing. She need sot wean off the HC and retest to get an accurate idea where she is. I hjave had HIGH cortiol and low DHEA so I don;t think that always means the cortiosl is low. If she had HIGH estrogen with this it would lean more towards low cortiosl but we are just guessing here. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I think her estrogen numbers were normal from the original post as I deleted the stuff that was normal. I guess we can wait for her to come back on and let us know. Guest guest
Val & Cheri, Thanks for getting back to me. I have been trying to " catch up " reading the posts so just read these this morning. I was NOT on the HC when I did the saliva tests. I started it the morning after the test. However, I got up early the morning of the test (normaly I couldn't get out of bed until 9am or after so getting up before 7am that morning was unusual for me. Don't know if that had anything to do with the test results. I appreciate your help in trying to figure out these results. I will be going to the Top Doc? next week & would like to see if I could get him to run whatever tests will help in determining what is wrong. So all of your input is welcomed! Also Val, I started (2 days ago) taking the HC 10,7.25,5,2.5 as per your suggestion. I had trouble falling asleep the last 2 nights, but I did sleep longer last night w/o having to get up to eat several times during the night. Thanks again. Looking forward to hearing more from you both. Debby > > I think her estrogen numbers were normal from the original post as I deleted > the stuff that was normal. Guest guest
Okay, then the stage 3 they listed you as is correct. Was your estrogen high too? In earlier stages, it is not uncommon for cortisol to be elevated some time frames and lower others. Do you think you will stick with the dosage you are on of HC and see how that works for awhile?
