Guest guest
Whew!Love to your brother and his family, too, Sharon,nTo: MSersLife Sent: Sat, March 12, 2011 9:46:41 AMSubject: tsunami, brother in Alaska My brother and his wife live on the Kenai Peninsula just a few miles from our old home there. When I first heard about the earthquake yesterday morning I was concerned about my brother/sis-in-law. The Kenai Peninsula is in a tsunami warning area after the big devasting tsunami of 1964. The tsunami warning sirens were going off in Homer and and also went off in Seldovia, on the south side of Kachemak Bay that surrounds Homer. There was less than a foot tsunami wave that hit Homer about 5 a.m. before a high tide of 16.7 feet at 5:38 a.m. So all is well on the Kenai Peninsula. The nuclear power plants in Japan are in danger, hundreds (at least) are missing and many more than that are dead. It's a disaster of enormous proportions. I hope no more will lose their lives from this earthquake and resulting tsunami.love to all SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
