I was then told I wouldn't get them again. I don't think you can get them again, so I think you're safe, but I'm not 100% sure. You should check. You can only have shingles after you have had chicken pox. All the Drs and nurses came into the room to check them out as they don't see them very often. And I got them about 9 yrs ago while on a cruise!!! Not fun at all.
