Here are my results TSH 45 normal range for norm: 26-85nlU/ml ft4 .16 low range for norm: .17-.42 ng/dl ft3 .49 normal range for norm: .28-1.10 pg/ml TPO Thyroid Microsomal Ab, SIgA positive So I get that I have hashi's and perhaps hypo but i consulted the thyroid specialist Dr.Shames and he said it was strange that my t4 was low he said he doesn't typically see this pattern.????? So anyway months after my consultation w/ him I've only got up to 1 grain of naturthroid b/c of sensitivity and adrenal crash. My current doc feels I should move up to 1.5 grain. I have to say that even w/ the small amount of meds this has been the warmest winter in 10 years and my eyebrows and hair which were fine have gotten thicker. I have stage 5 adrenal fatigue took glandulars and isocort for months not enough so my doc prescribed me 5 mg of cortf but said he wont give me anymore than that. So I do 2.5 in am 2.5 at noon and then 2-3 glandulars in the afternoon. After all this still feel tired, weak muscles and like Im dragging through life although some things have improved, skin, hair, temp..... I cant tell if I'm not taking enough meds in general because I am also sick recovering from glandular fever. Its very confusing since i'm prone to infections and in addition have the endocrine imbalances- many layers of stuff and its hard to tell what's what. Any suggestion or info would be greatly appreciated as I feel like i'm ready to pull my hair out from years of frustration trying to figure this out feel literally exhausted at age 29. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
I took adrenal stress end by integrative therapeutics - it definately gave me a boost but doesn't seem to support me like HC especially when increasing thyroid meds. >
