Guest guest
TerriDo you have a scooter or electric wheelchair? If not --get one! You can probably rent one because you may not have time to get approved for one from your insurance. You also need to request disabled seating at the graduation. hugs to you and congrats to your daughter! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I really don't know what can be done but maybe an ear would help? Gonna call my neuro in the morning. I tried to walk across to my neighbor. I Fell 2 times right on my butt in the street. How in the hell am I going to go to her graduation? It's embarrasing!! I need to go with my ex-husband because her school is almost 2 hours from my house. In the old days I'd just get in my car and go!!! I Hate this big time. sigh* I'm riding my recumbant bike the last couple weeks no help! Being a retired nurse doesn't help either...I swear TMI sucks. I'm guessing physical therapy might help but the past 25 years has made me stubborn. Butt, Stubborness aside it might be worth it to give In? Guest guest
Ask around on freecycle and craigslist, someone might loan or rent you one for the day. Guest guest
I've got preferred seating Joni called me yesterday. Wheelchair, I just can't do that. Just not ready for that one. Hopefully physical therapy should help. I've got a month to try good thoughts? > > Terri > > Do you have a scooter or electric wheelchair? If not --get one! Guest guest
Oh Terri,I'm sorry about your falls. I do feel balance and gait therapy would be helpful to you. In the meantime, you probably best use a cane or walker. Just my 2 cents.Best wishes at the graduation, hugs,KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Tue, March 29, 2011 9:46:12 PMSubject: Advice please...Terri MSer's Not sure what can be done but maybe an ear would help? Guest guest
Terri could you use a wheel chair? That way you would at least be able to sit in the front and not have to do any walking. Prayers you find a suitable solution. Guest guest
Terri: It's not "giving in." It's adapting and dealing with the changes. I'm not thrilled that I need to use an electric scooter to get around. But, I'm much happier being able to go out and not worry about tripping and being worn out.Dan U dao_nguu@...
