Guest guest
I did, too!!! I kept hearing people telling me how the pounds would just fall off me when I was bf'ing... yeah, right! I was starving to death all the time and gained weight anyway. I'm sure that there's a continuum of experiences here, though... I'm pretty sure that Lynn Karagory got right back down to pretzel-stick thinness while she was bf'ing. I think it's pretty individual, don't you think? -- Kris Wood Entropy isn't what it used to be. on 7/17/03 8:28 PM, of BabyCopia at linda@... wrote: > Thank you! Guest guest
Don't know, got back to my original weight after I stopped bf'ing. Body looked pre-pregnancy but the scale said otherwise. During the entire time of bf'ing I was constantly hungry...grazing throughout the day. More like eating regular meals throughout the day. Important to note though, during pregnancy and while bf'ing I really didn't/don't care how much weight I gained/gain. I got something more important than vanity/scale issues ... a gorgeous happy baby! ~ BabyCopia ~ Unique and Original Baby Products ~ Preggie Pops Now Available! ~ www.babycopia.com Re: Re: Weight I did, too!!! Guest guest
Possible for some.....it can range from somewhat possible to highly unlikely to virtually impossible depending on the person. I personally believe everyone should go on a diabetic diet the moment they are put on prednisone. They probably should get nutritional counseling at that time. Then perhaps they might avoid some of the extreme. But, most people do not have good luck managing their weight on prednisone. > > This is probably a stupid question but is it possible to lose weight > while taking Prednisone ? > > W. , East Texas , Silicosis , 4/08 >

Guest guest
, I've been able to not gain extra weight!!!But the losing is nearly impossible for me! I need to be more active and that often leads to trouble with my knee or ankle . I'm using light weights for upper body and light leg weights for my legs instead of the treadmill right now. I'm not eating any more than I used to before this mess but losing weight is really hard. The prednisone gives you a false feeling of being hungry and you eat!!! I try to eat healthy snacks but...! BTW...there's no such thing as a stupid question...(that's the teacher in me talking!) Z fibriotic NSIP/05 Z 64, fibriotic NSIP/o5/PA And “mild” PH/10/07 and Reynaud’s too!! No, NSIP was not self-inflicted…I never smoked!
