Guest guest
Sounds like you have a lot going on. I happened to notice you were on Lipitor-PLEASE watch yourself on this. I fell out of bed in April 2006 from being on Lipitor for 2 1/2years. At first they though it was a Fibromyalgia flareup. Then I went for a muscle biopsy and they confirmed I had Polymyositis-a muscle disease which they think was probably caused by Lipitor. In turn I progressed so fast that it caused the PF as well. They wasted so much time trying to figure out medications to get me started on the good cells left in my body just kept getting worse and I could never go into any type of remission or good feeling days because the meds weren't working! I have been in constant pain and fight every day to stay moving and alive. Finally this past June I begged them for pain med and they put me on Loratab 5/500 4xday. I can't move without taking this now. I had gone to Pittsburgh in June of2007 (after I had a stroke in April 07 due to IVIG treatment they tried) and the doctor wanted to know why NY doctors didn't treat me properly and start me on meds right away. Unfortunately not much was documented and I don't have the energy to fight with a lawyer so I just live day by day now. Look up all meds related and make sure you take them all correctly and they all don't interact. It's important for your treatment to be well informed. Try to get your cholesterol down by diet if possible-the most natural, vegetarian way as possible. The Lipitor isn't worth the muscle problems-trust me! I respect you trust your doctors and you have to do what you feel is right. I only offer my opinion because I hate thinking of others suffering out there as well. Good luck to you. Have Happy Healthy Holidays! Diane NY PF,Polymyositis,Raynauds,Sjorgrens 2006, PH 2008
