I use Find A Grave site a lot. It's so exciting for me to find a gravestone of one of my ancestors. We decided to base our stuff at Ancestry - with an offline backup! - butanything I find on Ancestry I'm using as just a jumping-off point - I'mwearing out my Google-fu hunting down parish records, old genealogy books,photos of churchyards... :-D I love old graveyards. Wish I was rich andfamous enough to go visit them all in person! And I surely do wonder what those Quaker ancestors think of (a)Lizzieand ( the huge number of military folks among their descendants! It's so weird that I can sit cross-legged or whatever for hours now, andnothing happens - but I lie on my side for 5 minutes and my whole arm goesnumb! But hey, as long as I can type and stitch, ain't gonna fuss. And my little design line has just come away from their first big "show",with over $150 in sales! Been excited up til now to sell 4-5 patterns at a time - over 30 at the

seminar! Woot!

Haven't had near as much luck with Tombstones as Findagrave, most of my

people are off in weird little places - and the most interesting ones are

Over There! Wanna get rich and famous and go to the UK someday...

And about PT/balance - don't know about PT, but " Sweating To The

Oldies " about 3 times a week seems to be helping both my balance and my

range of motion. Hope by the time it's warm enough to work outside, I'll be

" up " to it!

Some of the cemeteries on Find A Grave are little tiny, obscure ones and some are huge. I found ancestors on Find A Grave but more commonly I put grave/memorials on when I find out the cemetery information. Here's one I added for my 4th great grandmother. Thanks! That Publisher/Editor/Merchanting Woman (see? I only have ONE job,

and don't have to dress for mine!) sold 31 patterns in one evening- I think

our sad little " record " before that was another merchant who sold a dozen at one

event - and then disappeared with both the cash and the leftover patterns,

humph.

That's when we decided to do it all ourselves, unless another " merchant "

wants to buy upfront wholesale.
