I am living a very quiet & boring life, so don't have much to say, but do enjoy keeping up with your lives; pray when appropriate; and keep learning from you . Thank you! Guest guest
MarilynI am so glad you posted. I have wondered about you! No, I didn't remember that you lived off grid. It's a simpler way to live but there are drawbacks for sure. It sounds like you are enjoying life. I love to feed the wild birds and watch them out my window. I've recently made some larger feeders out of plastic orange juice gallon jugs. The birds love their jugs of black oil sunflower seeds. rejoined the group but doesn't post very often. I have been wondering about her as well. Perhaps I'll write to her and check up on her. hugsSharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I love hearing about your adventures and can relate to so many. You may recall, Sharon, that we lived off grid 'til about 10 years ago and still try to keep it simple; though must admit I am happy to have electicity as my MS has progressed and need to be able to charge batteries for my wheelchair and ceiling lift. I am fortunate to be on a program that will enable me to stay at home until extended care is needed... so I am still living home alone with my 2 little chihuahua companions, and the birds and squirrels I feed on the porch, so there is lots of 'life' around me. Many of the village children come to 'visit' me, which is fun (I keep them coming back with my well stocked treat jar!) I have a team of caregivers who come in for 5 hours per day to help with tasks I can't do alone. Bonus is that my primary caregiver is my youngest daughter, who had her 1st baby last Aug 1st - so she brings her to work a couple of mornings per week so we can play! We had a lot of snow this winter, so I was pretty housebound - except for a New Years spell in the Hellspital! A few days ago I was able to get out & zip up and down the road, and view the crocusses and snow drops that Sam had planted in the yard, so I am looking forward to Spring finally eliminating the last traces of Winter. My patio garden is waiting for me to plant my summer veggies! I suppose that is the 'update' I have been owing for some time. Has anyone heard from (Africa)? I've been concerned about her and hope she is safe. May God Bless you all and keep you strong and joyful! Love & hugs, Marilyn
