Guest guest
For anyone reading this, Val told me on the adrenal group to try raising t3, so I did. And it worked. I felt better within a few hours of the dose that I raised. So I will carry on with raises as indicated by a return of hypo symptoms. I am raising slowly, only 6.25 per raise, as I don't want to risk an adrenal crash. Been there, done that. Kathleen > > Ok, I've been feeling REALLY good since starting Florinef. But the past few days, I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I just can't wake up for the life of me. Temps are stable, so I don't think it's low cortisol. Plus when I have a cortisol crash, I feel malaise, not just tired. > > I suppose electrolytes could be off due to the Florinef; am testing those early next week. > > But I HAD reduced my t3 per Val due to tad low ferritin, down to 43.75. > > Do you think it's time to raise t3 and that's what causing this extreme feeling of being tired? I also think that sometimes supporting the adrenals (like I'm doing with the Florinef) can reveal your true hypo state. I raised to 50 which helped a bit, but only for a couple days. Now I'm even more tired. So I'm inclined to bump the t3, but not sure by how much. Don't want to overdo it, but I feel like I'm going to fall asleep over here. > > Also having a bad period, so the sex hormones could be figuring in. > > Last labs showed ft3 only at 370 something. That was on the 43.75 t3. > > Thank you, > Kathleen >
