Wonderful news. Glad to hear Phil is better. I know the gentleman in

our chemo room has rosy cheeks when he gets done with his vampire meal.

LOL..when he first came in he was really sleepy and lethargic.. Now he

reads a book, and watches tv and converses a bit. Looks a whole lot

better. They do the transfusion all the time in our chemo room. Take

care and God Bless Jolene

Back from the hospital Phil is fine and even has a bit of pink in his cheeks

He was getting pasty;-)

He was pretty anemic down to 21 on his red counts and slept the entire time

of the transfusion (about 6 hours). This is the 2nd transfusion he's had

outside of his surgery April 1, 2005. The last was Nov. 2004. They only put

him

in the hospital because the cancer center does not do transfusions, not sure

why.

We will be checking the black stools, though bleeding can be a side effect

of the Avastin. Black means there is old blood somewhere. I would remind you

that these were the same symptoms present prior to the colon tumor

disappearing so while it all sounds like bad news we could be looking at good

news. God

willing.

Phil came home walked the dog and went to pick up Timmy from school. Said

that was the best nap he's had in weeks!

So hopefully I will be writing with some very good news very soon.

Thanks to all for your love and prayers
