Well, no one really knows as the studies were done on t4 AND they onlu used

calcium carbonate and 1000 mg at that.

However, to be safe, most people suggest taking t3 away from calcium. I take

Albion bisglycinate calcium. It's chelated molecularly, so it cannot ionize and

bind to meds. Their iron is the same way -- it's the Bluebonnet Iron everyone

uses.

I take some of my calcium this way within an hour, and don't have a problem.

However, I take the bulk of it at night, about 3 hours after my evening dose of

t3 anyway (right before dinner which is a good 4 hours from bedtime) as calcium

absorbs better at night supposedly.

Firstly the avoidance is 1 hour AFTER thyroid or 4 hours before it.

Secondly if you take T3 sublingually then you don't have to avoid it,

the T3 passes into the serum without meeting the calcium in the

stomach or gut
