Re: Low carb diet?

I am on a low carb diet, I started seriously almost at the same time I switched

to T3 only. I did it because I have what is usually called " prediabetes " ,

meaning my numbers (gkucose readings) were not yet high enough for being

considered diabetic but they were not normal either. Changing to a low carb diet

is helping bringing the numbers down. I do feel better, particularly I am not so

hungry anymore (I used to be very hungry every few hours), so I can concentrate

on other issues besides eating.

I've read that a few people have here. I'm a week 7 and still finding that

having any high carb food is not sitting well with me. So I'm trying to reduce

my intake, and just wondered whether other had had a similar experience. Does

anyone know why this is?

Reverse T3 is a strong component of Metabolic syndrome. Diabetes is the

result. High carb diets are not good for anyone! Well maybe athletes

that are buring thoruhg tons of cabrs and calories. Loew carb doeting

includes HIGH protein and fats Fats are HUGELY importsnt for the

metabolism, which we are all tryingto correct. Protein is what gives the

body energy.

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to test this out on the next few days with a

high meat, low carb diet and see what the effect.
