Hi KayHow did your surgery go? When was it done? MS memory problems suck bad, don't they? Do you also have cognitive problems with figuring things out? I hate that. hugs to you for rapid healing! I am also reading, having memory problems lately. Just being a slug and recovering from surgery. I am healing well but it makes my mind mushy and sometimes it is hard to connect the dots:) I do read the posts. It is good to know you are there.

I am so glad the surgery for the veins is behind you now. I remember many years ago the only thing the did for varicose veins was to strip them. Yea for the medical advances of today! So you broke your ankle previously and didn't know it? Do you remember injuring that ankle?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. My last surgery (right leg, varicose veins) was Feb 21...and was the worst case he'd ever worked on. I had two rounds of oxycondin and mega therapy to get my leg size down to where it would fit in a compression stocking. I had fallen the week before hand and injured my ankle (same leg) and that hasn't healed all the way. It seems in the past I had broke it and didn't know it. I have a floating bone fragment that has to be taken out so I can walk with out problems. The next surgery will be in early June/Late May to do a touch up and extract the bone fragment.

The memory problem is with short term, and with people's names. I can still learn things but have a heck of a time remembering appointments, what I am supposed to be doing all day or where things are unless they are something I have done multiple times in the past.

I am forgetting and having to take a day or more to remember the names of people I have known for a long time. I can tell you everything about them, (birthdates, conversations, even bits of telephone #'s, but not their names...) it is so frustrating. Well this has happened before, should be better in a few months again...it gets harder and harder to 'fake it' to people around me.

I do remember injuring it several times over the last 20 years. Not sure which time it was actually broke. They said it looked like I had multipple breaks over time so guess I was being stubborn. It has been feeling better the last few days. I am walking a little less , and am spending more time with doing 'little' chores versus on my feet for a few hours a a time.

I guess you are like me Kay;) I don't go to the doctor when I fall either... I wait to see if things get better and, fortunately, they always have! There was one injury to my ankle though that may have warranted a visit to the ER. I still have some stiffness in that ankle. I am so glad to hear there are little improvements for you!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
