Guest guest
Thanks again. You know what else? I'm wondering if it's the caffeine. I used to drink decaf until a few months ago and until this very moment have been drinking at least 3 cups of coffee every day. I'm going to avoid caffeine for a few days to see if that helps. I'm very bad at remembering whether I've taken my pills. Wouldn't doubt it if some days I take too much Armour. > > Yes 2.5 grains owuld be a good start. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. I have been using Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% that the dermatologist gave me. It helps fade the areas that I've caused to bleed. Also take Benadryl at nighttime. However, I awoke last night just a couple hours after taking Benadryl and scratched non stop for quite a while. I would like to know the cause and how to stop this...Going crazy. Am reducing my Armour from 3.0 to 2.5 grains beginning today. Also will avoid all caffeine...and red wine. I still wonder if I should eliminate the Cortef, change to a generic, or increase the dose. > > Go to 2.5 grains instead of 3? > > > > What brand of cortisol if not cortef? > > >
Guest guest
YES...mine began as a very small patch where my bra hitches...then under the strap I wore on my arm for " mouse elbow " ....then slowly ....but now rapidly. My back looks like I've been tortured. And, yes, where the clothes touch. Armour isn't easy for me to consider quitting as I need the thyroid medication....because every joint in my body hurt prior to the Armour. So, do you mean switching to another brand? > > Began as a rash, itch under bra then arms, whole back, legs, > > buttocks, etc. Dermatologist did a biopsy and it the itch is drug > > related (and those are the only two drugs I take.) > > > > > > Anyway, doc suggests I get off of the Cortef to rule that > > out...although he says it is highly unlikely that it is cortisol. > > Once we know THAT is not the problem, then he can try me on a > > synthetic T3/T4 (thyrol?). > > >
