Guest guest
Thanks Val, that makes sense. I was a little concerned with the idea that you should stress dose when you're supposed to be doing something fun but the realthyroidhelp people say they do it. Someone going to Disneyland was stress dosing. Things of that nature. Although I did have an adrenal episode after going to a concert, I wouldn't want to HAVE to stress dose for those kind of things. Perhaps once I get some decent adrenal support I won't have these episodes for the fun things in life. Thanks much for your thoughts. > > If you need to stress dose for FUN stuff you need to stop having fun. Can you explain how this works? I get an enormously bloated belly sometimes, but it can come and then go again in a few hours, and i'm having a terrible time figuring out what is causing it. It does go away when the cortios is > lowered however. So is it possible that blowing up in the afternoon and then deflating in the evening could be from having too much cortisol during that time? I'm currently taking 15-5-5 of an extended release cortisol (cortisol mixed with methylcellulose at a compounding pharmacy); but nobody seems to know how extended the release really is. The pharmacy claims 24 hours but I don't believe it because if I skip the dinner dose I can't sleep through the night. Lia
