Anniversary #1 - yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anniversary #2 - also yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I don't remember the dates of my

divorces, but if I did I might celebrate by not letting the buggers cross my

mind... ;-D )

Subject: Anniversaries

Today is the first anniversary of the day Rob brought Robbin back to me, and

Thursday is the second anniversary of our divorce (how does one celebrate that,

anyway?)

So for Robbin tonight I am making one of his favorite dinners...mac n' cheese

with a diced can of Spam mixed in, and some corn mixed in as well. I mix it all

up and put it in a casserole and bake it for about an hour or so... Not exactly

the healthiest meal, which is why I don't make it that often...but he loves it!

And I just went and hugged him...because I CAN!!!!

Congrats on the anniversary.. and commissary or congrats on the divorce as well.. maybe a bit of both there..And DO... hug him every chance you get.. (even twice at the same time) and don't forget to tell him that you love him.I make sure, these days, that every time Earl leaves my sight (and he's 29)... that I tell him that I love him.. because I can as well.. and because I don't want to ever regret not having told him so, and just thinking that he knows it...See.. I told ya'll that I should probably just lurk for a while longer.. <grin>.. HUGS|)onna Anniversaries

Donna, I cry when I think of your loss. I don't honestly know how you got (are getting, it never ends) through that. And it just makes me hug Robbin all the tighter, and I tell him I love him many times a day...

Only 2. #1 was a teenage " oops " who turned out to be abusive in more ways than

we want to discuss; #2 lasted less than a year, and occurred basically because I

was under the stupid impression that if you had kids, you HAD to be married. As

for the dates, I'd have to go to the paperwork - was more like housecleaning or

a necessary surgery than anything else...

#3 and I just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary on the 21st of March.

Thanks

Akiba

Pain never really goes away.. might hide for a bit.. but then

something comes along to blindside ya.. and well..

But having a terrific support network has helped tremendously..

and the family here has been absolutely terrific with the

support.. You guys have always been great at holding me up and

supporting me when I'm pretty sure I can't make it on my own..

Thanks to ya all for this..
