A hysterectomy will fix it before there is anymore nerve damage. But please when you go for your appointment – ask your doctor what he thinks about the pudendal nerve. It’s a possibility you still might need PT afterward. nne Thanks, nne, for all of your encouragement. I don't like the thoughts of another surgery...but I'm so tired of the sitting pain and tired of fighting with my uterus! I have an appt. Friday to see my doc. Thing is though, I've not started for two months now, and wouldn't you know, I made the appt. Monday & began spotting today...so I guess I'll have to wait and see if I'll be able to go. I sure hope so...I would love to be evaluated by a good PT, regardless of surgery. With my long-standing history of pelvic pain, I'm sure those muscles could use some help! ~Chelle
