A very good brand that is recommended by many Dr's is JarroDophilus.

(made by Jarrow Formulas) It has 8 different strains and it has worked

well for me. A lot of people say it's best to take on an empty stomach

but this product says you can take with or without food. Two capsules

per day at least two hours away from Anti-biotics if you are taking them

Another brand that is highly recommended here is Culturelle. It has

only on strain but it's the one that specifically helps yeast is what I

have learned on the board. I just got mine today and took my first one!

If you are on Anti-bioitics (I am long term for Lyme) you will probably

want more strains like they have in NSI Probiotic 15-30. (you can buy

it at a good price at Vitacost.com - their prices on everything are

supre)

If you have yeast issues ThreeLac is excellent but it's expensive. It

works well on " systemic yeast " or when you have a " whole body " yeast

issue.

I'm sure you will get some other good advice here too.

Hugs

Subject: Probiotics brand?

Hiya,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good probiotic brand? I am not sure if

the one I am using is so helpful.

And, how many times a day do you take it? With meals or on an empty stomach?

Sheila
