Guest guest
Dear DonnaI knew you were having a medication problem and knew you were lurking around here someplace:) I am glad to see this post from you. I hope you can get to the neuro and hopefully get some medication changes that may help with your mood and mind and body. Our trees are starting to leaf out and the lilacs are blooming. But the wind today is fierce and we have snow in the forecast. Ack!big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I am getting the medication thing under control.. seems I might be getting straight now as well.. though my friend tells me that I'm kinda like hell on wheels these days.. Guest guest
Been to the neuro.. yesterday, and didn't have to be pulled out of the mud once.. the rain held off until today..Medication changes.. Only to the Baclofen, added another 20mg per day.. in four doses instead of two.He didn't take the Keppra away, nor ask me to change that, but it seems the dropping back to 3 instead of 4 makes me a much more pleasant person to live with ('s words.. and he had added that his tongue is quite sore, from biting it so often LOL -- he also told my neurologist that if he decided that I had to increase the dosage of Keppra, that he was sending me to live with the doctor.. such a bad boy to take to appointments with me)BUT the best thing to come of the appointment... Guess there was a medication change after all, other than the Baclofen. Doc has got the paperwork underway to get me all hooked up and ready to go with the Ampyra... Should have the meds and be ready to go with them in 4 to 6 weeks.. and according to literature that he gave me.. within the next 2 to 6 weeks, I should see improvement in my ability to walk.. If we can get me up and mobile again, even with this messed up knee.. all should be GREAT round here.. even if I can only get around enough or stand long enough to wash a load or two of laundry, maybe wash a dish or two.. and who knows.. I might even be able to tackle the toilets!!!! (if only to toss them out in the yard and turn them into planters or something.. <grin>)I'm feeling better, and still reading and trying to catch up.. if I'm not absolutely sure of a reply, or what I want to reply.. I kind of just skip it rather than possibly coming off like an idiot or an ass.. When gives me an all clear signal (he did say it's much better now than it was a week or so ago) then I'll be a little more confident in posting more frequently..In the meantime, till I'm at least close to being normal.. just know that I'm still reading.. and I'm still standing beside everyone in everything they do even though I don't reply or you don't see me standing there... I'm sending up prayers that need to go up.. and I'm muddling through.. one day at a time..HUGS & LOVE to Sharon and All|)onna Who's reading the group? To: MSersLife Date: Tuesday, April 5, 2011, 5:54 PM I am wondering who is reading the group?
