So far, so good. But the 14 year old thinks she has strep throat. (big groan from me). I've been making her hot tea and hopefully she will feel better.CPS didn't open a case on the kids so there will be no help with costs. If we can get a power of attorney from dad then we can get them to the doc. They have medicaid but we don't have permission (poa) to take them to the doctor. Their dad called this morning from jail to talk to the kids. He says it looks like he can be bonded out but he doesn't have the money and we certainly don't. His bond would be $650. He was arrested because he has a bench warrant. He was convicted several years ago of "squatting" on property. The truth is he had a verbal

agreement with the landowner to buy the land. I know that's true because I was there when he was on the phone with the landowner talking about it and I could hear part of the conversation. Then for some reason the landowner decided not to sell the the "dad" and had the cops come to evict him and then said he was squatting. The judge in this case has a history of judicial misconduct but the "dad" hasn't had any luck getting anyone to listen to him. His vehicle was towed yesterday. I found out this morning the cost today of the towing is $315. Each day another $20 is added on. I'm afraid the "dad" is going to lose his vehicle over this because he won't be able to redeem it. My son is going to go talk to the guy at the towing place and see if he can get the price lowered any. Wish my son luck please! My son will be doing most of the cooking. Son looked through the pantry earlier and planned

out some inexpensive meals for the next week. I did cook breakfast this morning--just hot cereal and toast. The kids are sad, but the 16 year old is distraught. She feels responsible for helping her dad and is trying to find someone who can loan her money to get him out of jail. Sad situation for a 16 year old to be in for sure.hugs to allSharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
