Guest guest
I mix Estrace cream, Lidocaine gel, Cortizone 10 cream, and Emu oil all together in the palm of my hand and apply it every night. It REALLY helps! nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of spanishmiss430 Sent: Tuesday, August 07, 2007 7:51 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: flare-spasms C, As far as estrace and lidocaine goes - one is not better than the other, that's like comparing apples and oranges. They are used for two completely different things. Lidocaine to temporarily numb the area and hopefully retrain the nerves to not fire all the time, and estrace to build up the tissue strength and tone. I used lidocaine with no success but that is unusual from what I hear. I like the estrace. Still looking for other things to combine with it to take care of my problem. PT has helped me more than anything, and lots of emu oil throughout the day. Melinda
Guest guest
It's not a steroid. Although some think it is. I've been using it for 10 years and it hasn't thinned out my vulvar area. Steroid creams if you use them too long on the area will thin out the skin in the vulvar area.
