Guest guest
It is true that with vulvodynia and it's subcategories it can be hard to get good information which is why it can be confusing so I do empathize. I hope that things get worked out for you soon so that you can get an answer. Also, because of the confusion it's one reason I keep answering your questions because I've been thru some of this. But please check out Dr. 's book in the 300 page section from 302-320 if you have the book because she does real good at explaining some of this stuff. Guest guest
One of the first things a doctor may prescribe for vulvodynia regardless of whether it's general vulvodynia or vestibulodynia is Lidocaine ointment but it can depend on how they are going to start out the course. There used to be some girls on the list that used the compounded Lidocaine but don't know if they are still on the list. You may be able to find some of their posts by checking in the archives. Go back to around 2000 when searching and you may be able to find some of their posts.
