There are 2 muscles that run along the front of the neck and when these muscles

are too tight (in my case it's most of the time) it affects balance and

dizziness.

Questions

Hugs to everyone

I have several questions. One is has anyone ever expereinced dizziness from

maybe so much pain? I have not been able turn my head certain ways because I

get

really dizzy and feel lightheaded. I have stabbing pains in my ears and the

back

of my head hurts. I have been have really severe pain in the back of my neck

and it radiates down to my shoulder blades and it burns so bad. Could it be

that?

I even though it was the fluid pill causing this but I did not take it today

and it is still bad. I will not go to the doctor till Tuesday so any input

would

be helpful. You know you have to go in there and help them to idagnose you

with

our problem. I have another question.

About the palpations in your throat what is that?? I also have that there is a

bout six months but it goes and comes and it does not last long. I never told

the doc because I figured it was the fibro. About the dizziness I can't look

down or up I get really dizzy. It is like I have to keep my head very still

and

at night it is worst. thanks Fay

Dear Fay,

The lightheadestment, etc, that you descibe comes to me due to stopped up

sinus cavitites. This is something several people I have talked to experience.

The best reliever of the pain I have found is actually a decogestant,

Guaifen/P-ehed tablets.

A large number of people I spoke with who had fibro from another group, always

used to say they believed fibro was helped taking Guaifen. I am not sure if it

helps that, or just my breathing.

it's time to ask the doc for supplemental O2

even if you don't use it 24/7, you need it in the house for when you need it

like when your SAT goes under 90%

my doc ordered it before i thouhgt i was ready

she said that she was ordering it in case i need if for exertion

gradually i started using it for exertion

then when i really needed it, about a year later, i was glad it was in the house

Lou how scary for you.I pray for all of us everyday. I am having a real problem breathing myself. I have not been on oxygen yet but feel I am heading there quickly. I quit the cytoxan on the 23rd and thought I would start to feel better but just the opposite has happened.I can barely walk 20 feet without my o2 dropping into the 80's. My blood work was horrible so my Dr said to stop the cytoxan immediately. I have a urinary tract infection and started to take cipro today but I cant believe this would affect my breathing and coughing. I cough non stop and even though I felt lousy before this is way worse. It only takes a few minutes to get up over 90 again but I cannot move or do anything. Did anybody else get an infection anywhere other than there lungs and feel this bad? I sure hope tomorrow I feel better. IPF 2/07 Scleroderma raynauds and sjogren 4/08 il

I have been getting alot of infections, all over the place. most are in

socially inconvenient places, making sitting and walking even more

uncomfortable. I have been placed on z pack several times in the past few

months, this is my third batch. I even have paper cuts that get infected! and

considering that I work with files all day, that is an issue. Doc says that

infections are due to the fact they are suppressing my immune system, nothing

that they can do for now. so, you are not alone. But I have no solutions, so

if you find one PLEASE let me know.
