The radiation used in cancer therapy is only for a very short time. Just a very few minutes. The process of getting set up plus the actual radiation itself is done normally in less than 10 min. I have never heard of radiation for any cancers killing the people. It has been known to shirk tumors so the person can have surgery saving their lives.

my sister CJ is having a biopsy tomorrow in Michigan - two weeks ago they took two hours and poked and prodded to get nothing - scan was clean - they were hot to trot to try to diagnose fibrocystic breasts as cancer - CJ admits that her caffeine count is high - she is already on medication for pre TB thanks to a 3 week trip to SAudi Arabia for Civil Service - she made it very clear to them that she will do the biopsy - she refuses radiation and chemo - she got things together with herbs and a liver cleanse - because of the pre TB - the meds make it rough for the liver to function - milki thistle helps with this

She was to made to spit or talk after her 2 hour visit - I agree with her - back in the day when my caffeine count was up I had knots of cysts and it hurt - reorganizing my caffeine intake and getting my diet and herbs stopped the problem

I will not do chemo or radiation _ I have lost too many friends and seen what it does to them

Anne,

I lost 3 friends that had breast cancer that stopped their treatments to go

natural. We were all in a support group together when we lived in Lanark. They

all stopped at the same time, and all 3 died within 3 months of each other

leaving 9 kids without mothers between them. They had a much better prognosis

than I did. My mother in law was diagnosed with stomach cancer and went

alternative meds and she didn't make it either.

I have seen too many women in the breast cancer group that I am cofounder of, do

nothing, and they do not last very long. Some go the alternative route and some

just simply do nothing. I had my mastectomy May 24, 1990. I had 6 mo of chemo,

no radiation or reconstruction. My tumor was 2.5cm, I was Stage IIB, Grade II. I

had a 60% chance of the cancer coming back. So far after almost 21 yrs I am

doing fine.

I am sorry to hear your sister is refusing treatment. I would at least get a

second opinion. I will keep her in my prayers.

CJ and I believe the same way - my two sisters that have my power of attorney and mPOA - support my decision - I have had MS and fibro since I was 17 - it was Decewmber 2007 that I last had name brand meds for MS pain and migraines - I an allwrgic to the generic RX - aspiring, NSAIDs, demeral I am allergic to also - none of the other pain killers work

I was 62 om December - I have too many medical problems with more developing monthly - I have had flares every month this year and they get longer

I am not depressed - I made the decision when I worked in hospitals in MO in my 20's - no tubes - no machines - I saw what it did to my Dad, to Leroy my significant other and others I loved

My MIL just lost after 35 years of marriage - 3 in a relationship - and all those years as friends - she found out last fall she needs heart surgery - she decided against it - at 87 she will continue to do what she wants - her RA is worse than my MS

no - it is not for me - and I won't be coersed into it God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

Anne,I lost 3 friends that had breast cancer that stopped their treatments to go natural. We were all in a support group together when we lived in Lanark.
