Guest guest
Hehe asked and answered before I even read it Well we just got back from the Dr and save-a-bunch (grocery store)with Elaine. Robbin is now 5' 7-1/2", 170 lbs. He will be going to the optometrist to have his eyes checked. I will be going to Jax at some point for a neuro appt. I weigh less then I have at any time since before I met Rob...my magical number...222. Robbin is also supposed to put his bike to more frequent use. They also took a buttload of blood from me, but I think they left me some. Robbin of course decided to peek into the room just at the point where she was filling the vials...bad timing... We also have a brand spanking new fridge, as the old one pooped out at a little after midnight last night. No reason, just...well...stopped. Must be something electric, as the lights didn't even come on. Barry got me a new one, here and installed by noon. And he said he will be renewing my lease for me (yaay). And he is going to replace all of the window blinds, and put ones on the two windows that don't have them. The new fridge is also more energy conservative then the other one, so what with that and new blinds it might help keep the place cooler and my bill lower... Guest guest
Hey, coolio! You have had a great day! I had no idea Robbin was that tall...and he's not even 14 yet, is he? He's still growing! What all blood tests are they doing on you? Just nosy is all.Neat about the new fridge--is it one of those stainless steel ones? I always wanted one of those. I guess they are more expensive, so perhaps that's not the type he got you.The best news is about your lease! Awesome, congrats on that. He sounds like a wonderful landlord. What a terrific update, Akiba! Thanks for sharing.love ya sis,KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Tue, April 19, 2011 6:26:50 PMSubject: Re: Akiba...Akiba update Hehe asked and answered before I even read it Well we just got back from the Dr and save-a-bunch (grocery store)with Elaine. Guest guest
And the day didn't end there. I made dinner, had a normal evening, and when I went to bed the kitty came up. I hadn't been allowing him on my bed for a couple of nights because on Sunday night he'd come up and proceeded to PEE on my bed! Elaine is going to come over today and collect my sheets, she's volunteered to wash them for me...the next night he came up and landed on my face with claws extended, leaving three lovely holes right under my lower lip...but last night I let him come up, he seemed to settle in and then proceeded to PEE ONCE AGAIN. So for now he is an OUTSIDE cat. I have 2 sets of sheets and he peed on both of them. So Elaine will have two sets to wash for me, and 1 a.m found me trying to scrounge up something to sleep on. I found something but only had blankets to cover so slept uncovered. *sigh* ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- Akiba Wasn't it you who sent the link about the blood pressure med and research for MS? Guest guest
Much different than our current PCP... went in for his "check up".. so he could continue to get his BP medication.. doc felt the "things" on his back.. asked him to lift his shirt so he could see.. Then told him he could have them removed.. asked him "Why have them removed, they're just going to fall off by themselves, then eventually grow back, to fall off again"... Old PCP, had looked at them, and told him they were nothing to worry about, much like warts, they were the result of some virus, and they would continue to do just that.. fall off.. grow back.. fall off.. grow back.. and when they fall off.. they leave a brownish splash type mark on his skin.. And I guess she's somewhat like the old PCP who said we'd "watch" a spot that I had on my shoulder (I think it got irritated at one time because of my bra strap)... even knowing that I've got a family history (my dad) of melanoma... Went to see my dad's surgical doctor, because of a mole type thing that I had on my leg.. it had been there forever.. but one day I noticed that it had a scab on it.. and I couldn't remember bumping it, scraping it, or the dogs standing on it.. I wasn't waiting around to see what happened next.. He looked at it.. told me he was pretty certain that there was a problem with it.. but scheduled the time to remove it anyway.. I asked him about the one on my shoulder, and told him my old PCP said we were going to "watch it".. He immediately said.. "WE'RE not going to watch it.. it's coming off too!".. Some people might say "cut happy".. I don't think so.. I think he's jumping on stuff before it has a chance to do anything or become anything.. not with dad's history... Both were clear.. but I don't have to "watch" them or worry about them anymore either... Just had to go bra-less in the office for a couple of days.. LOL How long before this "next appointment"? If we were talking next week or maybe even the week after..I probably wouldn't have too much of a problem with the "next appointment" comment... If it's longer than that.. I very much might consider another doctor for another opinion.. oh wait.. wouldn't that be a first opinion? Please excuse me if I'm sounding offensive today (cause I don't mean to be).. not sure what's buzzing around up there today.. but I needed to get caught up with the group before it gets too far ahead of me again.. Anywhoo, that's the latest       ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -------Original Message-------  From: Sharon Date: 4/19/2011 2:58:55 PM To: Group Subject: Akiba   Wasn't it you who sent the link about the blood pressure med and research for MS? (that was a convoluted sentence! lol) Can you send it again please? I cannot find it anywhere. hugs  Sharon This email is a natural hand made product.
