Guest guest
Nick any ideas on this-I know you're busy. It does seem that I get a higher temp etc after taking my HC/SRT3 dose. But after a few hours my temps might drop a little. I'm spreading the SRT3 out 4x per day. It's already slow release, wouldn't think I would need to spread more-I'm taking 120mg and have been off dessicated for over a week now. I'm taking 30mg Hc, sometimes 40 if at work. I do suffer with a lot of muscle pain, some say that stress alone may call for more HC especially in men. Guest guest
Actually, SR lasts 8 to 12 hours (although I think it's more like 6-8), so you really shouldn't be taking it more than 3 times a day if you see what I mean. The 1st dose is still releasing when you are taking the 3rd and then the 4th, so you're getting overlap at various times which means extra t3 going into your system. If it's working, fine, but that could account for temp variations, too, or add to adrenal stress if you aren't taking enough at that time to cover all the t3. > I have also noticed a marked increase in temps and heart rate when taking HC about 1/2 hour after dosing-does that mean I am taking too much HC or what? > > My basals have been running low, but once I am up taking my T3 and HC they start to climb and average 98.6 if I am halfway busy and not laying around doing nothing. The HC is probably allowing the t3 to get into your cells. Is the temp too high or the HR too high? If not, then the HC seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. > > Nick any ideas on this-I know you're busy. It does seem that I get a higher temp etc after taking my HC/SRT3 dose. Are you taking them per Dr. Rind every 3 hours, 3 times a day. It's normal for temps to fluctuate a bit. What matter is the average and whether they are stable or not. If they are not stable or you feel low cortisol, you need to repost in the adrenal group when it opens again. Guest guest
I'm sorry; I thought you had written me before that you weren't taking a bedtime dose yet and were wondering whether to try it as your basals were low. So I thought you were taking all 4 doses during the day. Sorry! Hey, whatever works for you, that's what I say! :-) I don't think the SR lasts near what they claim anyway. It dumps 30 to 50% right away, but then at least you get a little bit continuously for the next few hours anyway. I actually liked taking the SR bedtime dose and I think you're right about taking some HC at night to raise basals. My basals were too high and Val thought it was from high nighttime cortisol. So if you're too low in cortisol at night, makes sense as well the t3 wouldn't get into the cells and would give you a lower basal. Ah, so complicated! Guest guest
>But I figure might as well take Cynomel at that point, right, if you're dosing every 4 hours anyway. I can't see a lot of point in SR The straight is much easier to dose. errors go away quicker and increases can be more subtle. It's cheaper to!
