I am going to be persistant! I am also going to ask my rhuemy to run tests on

me for it! After going over the symptoms, I am convinced that I have had this

my whole life! I was always sick as a kid with unexplainable stomach pain,

fatigue, etc. I also have osteoporosis, troubles with conceiving and now have a

liver disease that the doctor performed a biopsy on and dx me with primary

biliary cirhosis and the biopsy was inconclusive. Anyway, I am going to push

this with my doctor. Maybe I should take Kylie to see her too.

That was one of my major symptoms when I was sick also. Diarrhea

alternating with constipation. That and vomiting. At the time, my

parents were told that it wasn't CD because of the vomiting. (It

wasn't on the list of " classic " symptoms then, and neither was

constipation.) But the symptoms list is so vast now, who can really

say that someone doesnt have CD until after they are tested. At

least the doctor agreed to go through with the tests. Keep us

updated on the results! I hope you figure out what is causing all

of this!

Be persistant! And remember.... A MOTHER KNOWS BEST!!!

summary of her health problems from birth til now. He read them

over and asked some questions. He said CD could be the cause but he

wasn't convinced because she has diarrhea AND constipation.

WHAT????? EVERY other symptom on the list she has had. So I asked

him about that. So, she has 5 things wrong with her that are all

different? It would make sense that they are all one thing. He

said he thinks it is autoimmune and I was under the impresion that

celiac was autoimmune. He said no. BUT, he is going to do all the

testing for celiac, including the biopsy to rule it out. He is

running a ton of tests on blood, stool, and doing ultrasound on her

stomach. UGH!

me a bit that he kept dismissing the idea. I know he is the

doctor. But, I am the mom and I just feel like this is the right

place to be......
