Ain't that the truth! This household has three teenagers full time. Then when we had the extra kids for two weeks it bumped up to five teenagers. I remember making the electric skillet full of hamburger and pasta - 2 adult plates and 's - then I handed two spoons and the skillet to my oldest and his Bobbsey twin - teenagers will eat you out of house and home - they took dinner to the living room - eating with two vacummn cleaners is not fun God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I woke up at 3:30, the wedding was going to come on at 4, so I turned on the tube (even though it HAS no tubes) and watched, dozed some through the ceremony...but saw most of it, including both kisses

The dress was So lovely/elegant/big hint of sexy...very regal!

Then Elaine came to get me to go to a local church where they were doing a food pantry, and since we were in town and my SSI had come in, we went food shopping, I am now all stocked up, fridge/freezer/pantry chuck full...and so of course what does Robbin want for dinner? Fish sticks and curly fries....he could have anything from shrimp to steak...and he goes for *fish sticks*??? What HAVE I created????? Ok, I know the answer to that...a TEEN-AGER!!!!!

Later I caught him staring vacantly into the depths of the fridge, and I said "you had BETTER not ask what there is to eat...or it will be kimchee...cuz you will be in it DEEP!!!"

I got up at 6 am yesterday - I wanted to watch the royal wedding - I knew if I went to bed I wouldn't wake up - it started at 2:30 am this morning

I got up early 30 years ago and I even watched Luke and getting married

so between yesterday and this morning at 6 am I had slept one hour - this morning everytime I drop off the phone rings, the door bell rings (Grace is still refusing to wear her hearing aids), or Grace kept wondering in and waking me up

I will sleep deep tonight

my oldest would come home from school - bake a sheet cake and polish it off before supper - he still bakes well God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

At least he baked his own...from scratch or did you just lay in a huge supply of mixes?

Bobby Gene was a year older than my Bobby - I didn't mind him being around because his step mother was a real peace of work

the only problem I had was when they both wanted something - it was cow eyes and please, please, please Mom - from both of them

Bobby Gene grew up to be a good man - he went to Portland where his mom was and the last I heard he married and had a couple of kids God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
