I just got an email from Yahoo thanking me for being a Yahoo Mail user for 12 years. I'm thinking to myself...12 years? It doesn't seem like it's been that long. Twelve years ago, I was using a Macintosh G3 with OS 8.5 running on it. I had dial up service. Along came the dedicated server lines or DSL which we could use and not tie up our phone line. Imagine talking on the telephone with one person, while you are sending email to another. At the time, it was big stuff. Now, I am using an iMac that is 3 years old, and runs OS 10.6 on it. High speed internet is part of life now. We have two computers and a phone hooked up to the line. The PC, which the kids primarily use, and the iMac, which I primarily use. Technology has changed a lot in the 12 years that I have used Yahoo Mail.

Now, Yahoo Mail is upgrading. Or, will be in the next few months. I tried the new Yahoo Mail beta for about 5 minutes give or take. Right off the bat, I could tell that it looked a lot like Hotmail. Are Yahoo and Hotmail working together to confuse me? Maybe not, but, there are a lot of similarities. I actually like the Yahoo Mail Classic. So, I changed back. If you have a Yahoo Mail account and haven't tried the Yahoo Mail beta, you might be one of many who like it.

I started on the levothyroxine. Instead of the 50 mcg the nurse practitioner wanted me to take, I decided to start with 25 mcg. I called my endocrinologist on Monday; but, still haven't heard back from him. I have fatigue and I'm tired a lot of the time; but, I don't feel sluggish.

Tomorrow, Nick has an appointment with the dentist, to finish getting an extraction, which was started last Thursday. On Friday, he has an appointment with the nurse practitioner, to see if there are other options to treat his chronic congestion.

I just finished watching a move based upon true events. I have not researched the events behind the movie though. The movie starts Pine and Denzil Washington. Tony is one of my favorite directors. If you like his work, then you will probably like Unstoppable.

Marcus is still not riding in the car. So far, he has not gotten back on his bicycle, since his anxiety episode last summer. He walks everywhere. He's been complaining of a sore throat since Tuesday, at least. But, he saw the nurse practitioner on Monday. If only he had his sore throat then, she could have taken a look to see if there is anything going on there.

Have a good night to anybody still up and reading the messages.
