Guest guest
I can't remember - sometime in the late 70's there was a mmajor tornado here - I was in Missouri and didn't know until 6 pm - I spent 4 hours trying to get through to every small town in the county when my ex left for work he told me if I hadn't got through by noon he would start calling Ft Sill on the army line from the Reserves I got through around 11 am - I was concerned because the hospital on the SW park of town and the streets around it looked like a war zone - if it came out like they normally do on the NW part of town - this subdivison would have been ground zero no biggy when I got throug - electric on and finally phone on - they had barbequed and my nephew Cory had spent the night I did a lot of grumbling when the St Louis weathermen did not say the debre was tornado - wind shear or something you live in tornado alley and you know what it looks like - the airport looked like a cat 4 minimum God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
