If you no longer have any thyroid output because you have suppressed

TSH with a full replacement dose of thyroid then a very active time

can end up needing more cortisol or T3. The bodies own control

mechanisms have been superceded

Exercise does nto stimulate the thyroid, it can stimulate the adrenals

though. And whle on ANY thyroid medication your own thyroid is literally

shut down. If your thyroid COULD make enough hormone on demand, you

would not be here! LOL

I exercise regularly (6x/week) and at a pretty intense level and I have found

that I need LESS T3 at those times. I think my adrenals are in pretty good

shape so maybe this is part of the reason why.
