Sharon this happens to me too. I finally figured it out if you use the tab button to go to another paragraph, it sends instead. My finger hits it often......... grrrrr! >:-(

No, your memory is not screwy at all! lol. Kara went out to Denver, and though she loved the mountains, and Boulder in general, the campus what a joke. Little cabin-type places for classrooms. I saw the photos; I could hardly believe them!SO...she will be going to the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY; about 35 or 40 minutes from where we live in Ossining! I'm stoked to have her back in NY. She moves here in late August, though she does have to find an apt.. I mean she could live here, but she has her girlfriend moving to NY with her, and we'd never have room. She's having trouble finding something affordable, though we have a friend that is looking for a tenant, so she's going to get in touch with them.love ya,Kate

Yes, it was only for about 24 hours. I left yesterday at 4:15 and got home by 7:45. I think she felt my love and support while I was there. And it WAS great to see Kara! I think I told ya'll that she'll be coming back to NY in August. I can't wait.love,Kate

Well, now they are thinking it is part of the pneumonia, but there is still the outside chance it is a mass. They will be waiting 10 days while the levaquin is working to see if it clears. If not, there will need to be a biopsy done.

On a slightly separate note, I am down in Philly. I decided I should come down for a day and help her transition from the hospital to home. She came home on o2. Please pray, however, that she gets the tiny, compact device, so that she won't have to lug around a big tank at the wedding shower. She is very teary about everything these days, and nearly lost it, when she found out that they hadn't delivered this small device already. Usually it takes 2 days, and they don't think she'll have it by Monday. The shower is on Sunday. My daughter, Kara, who lives in the area, came over last night and made us an awesome dinner of chicken/veggie stir fry. Complete with a wild rice blend. My daughter is truly a sweetie. Well, I'm going to go see how I can help Patti right now....Later gators.

Thank you for the prayers, Sharon. Update from her: it is looking like a blood clot in the lungs. She was supposed to be discharged today, but her o2 was really, really low, so they are keeping her, and will give her IV blood thinners. Let's hope she'll be able to make her future DIL's wedding shower, as well as the wedding! The shower is this Sunday, but the wedding isn't until June 12--so there's time for healing before then. She is in Philly, about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs from me.Thanks again, Sharon!love,Kate, who is hoping your email problem resolves soon.
