Guest guest
Cherie? Val? In reading the post below- and having used Dr. s for a year with good results then a huge crash, I'm wondering if I can try some combo of Vit C, B12, multi vit, sea salt, mag, Iodine and DHEA combo. I'm stopping s Rebuilder and Herbal formula, staying on Dr. W's stress formula which seems to be just a good multi. I already take B-100 daily, started Iodoral 1 a day, to increase 1 every week until up to 4-5 a day. have sea salt but don't know how much to take. Assuming I can't add adrenal cortex or DHEA if doing a saliva test in 2 weeks. Shoudl I be doing a temp chart now? Isn't the idea to heal the adrenals not just replace their function? I don't know what stage adrenal exhaustion i was in a year ago, but I was alert perhaps 4-6 hrs a day, gained 30 lbs,did better on Dr. 's & 90mg Armour. My next crash started in Sept 07 due I think to trying to exercise 90 min every day, anusaura/flow/bikram yoga.. plus ending my relationship and holiday blues. Not as bad, but bad enough. I need to learn about stress dosing. How do I know the amt of sea salt, mag, C and B-and which? Point me in a direction and I can search the list for more info. Haven't learned how to use everything here yet. Thanks again... > > - > ..... doc's got my starting Vit C powder, B12 lozenges (is this > suffice, or do I need a Bcomplex too?), a liquid multi- vitamin, Sea salt (if I can tolerate it), Magnesium, and Iodine (if I can handle it), and DHEA 5mg (mine was a tad low). I'm going to try all this first before I go to HC. ..... > THanks > Let me know, > > To treat my adrenals I only used whole/unrefined salt, 3-5000mg of vitamin C, adrenal cortex, B complex and regular SLEEP (8 hrs a night)! My adrenals were at the point where I was exhausted on a >daily basis, and even had experienced a panic attack one time. I don't know what stage my adrenals were in but my cortisol production still there, albeit very low levels. I have never used HC...maybe it would have helped...maybe not. I knew though I did not want to risk side effects without FIRST trying the above route. Its been about 10 months, it worked. Most days I am great...every once in awhile I have an adrenal problem and then I know I need to keep up my protocol.
