Always decide if you need an increase, go by symptoms not the days If you are increasing and feeling it a bit it can help to alternate the high and low doses high, low, high, low rather than high, high, low, low have the same daily total but a lower peak level Also check temperature, adrenals can suffer as dose increases and a drop in temperature as you take T3 can show that Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
Thanks for that. good advice on spreading the doses out. One thing i have noticed though and i think i am going to try this. When i had plenty of T4 in my system and was adding in 1 x 25mg T3 i felt really good. Yesterday i didnt feel so good and today i felt off as well. So i have taken 100mg of T4 today and feel pretty good again. My hands are a big indicator for me as they stay nice and warm (plus i feel good). So before i start upping the T3 a lot more i want to see if i can stabilise on T4 and T3. It is worth doing. I say this because i do not know for sure i have an RT3 problem. The indicator was increasing the NTH from 3 1/2 grains to 5 1/2 grains without getting any benefit. It may be that i need a different ratio than the NTH provide. Has anyone else gone on to synthetic T4/T3 ? One other point Nick: phil over on the realthyroid help board says that T3 only meds for a male can lower testosterone production by binding it up with SHBG. do you know anything about this ? > > > > >i suppose i will have to see how i do tomorrow.
