Guest guest
I read the post from someone Val where you said B12 might cause a thyroid dump? Am I understanding you correctly? I was getting B12 shots at the time my Ft3 got to 9.1. Is this possible the reason for the high Ft3?? I am confused here? ALso, if we are low in B12 and need to take a supplement how do we know other than labs, we are getting too much so as not to dump? Guest guest
I haven't re-checked thyroid levels but since I started to take B-12, I had a dump for 10 days, it was amazing and I had to lower my t3. My ft3 was 6.1 but I was hypo--no Rt3, good ferritin, and good on Hc but pooling. > > I read the post from someone Val where you said B12 might cause a thyroid dump? Am I understanding you correctly? Guest guest
How did you feel when you had the thyroid dump. I have been very tired, swelling all over including face. I just raised my T3 by 10mcg; 5 at 11am 5 at 4. Not sure I am doing the right thing but I surely do not feel hyper.VeniziaSubject: Re: B12/thyroid dumpTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 4:33 PM I haven't re-checked thyroid levels but since I started to take B-12, I had a dump for 10 days, it was amazing and I had to lower my t3. Guest guest
I felt the same as when I cleared Rt3--very hot and high temps in the 99's all day. I actually felt really good otherwise. Small amounts of sublingual B-12 didn't help much. When I tried 20,000mcg B-12 spread out through the day made a big difference and i noticed it within 24 hours.
