Guest guest
Val, I've been on Cytomel for 17 days now, and although my ferritin is low, and I'm working on bringing it up, I am tolerating the cytomel well, it seems, as temps are stable, but steadily going up. Today's two readings are 98.7 and 98.6 so far. My question is this: Do I keep raising the Cytomel as time goes? I'm on 50 mcg/day now. If I keep raising, will my temps. keep going up? I'm not sure what to expect if things are going well! THANKS!
Guest guest
I would hold the raises until you are certin your temp is not from some weird intolerance reactionm. I ma seeing quite a few higher than normal temps from folks on this group and not from high T3 so mayeb ther is something here that is tell ing you to aslow the increases down until your ferritin has time to catch p. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > Val, I've been on Cytomel for 17 days now, and although my ferritin is low, and I'm working on bringing it up, I am tolerating the cytomel well, it seems, as temps are stable, but steadily going up. Guest guest
Will do! I just took temp again, and it's 98.6 on the dot! This is a first for me in nine forevers! Having a "normal" temp. Does it generally take ferritin a long time to raise itself? I'm excited because before starting this, my periods were coming every three weeks. We're on 24 days and climbing now! This has to be a good thing for my ferritin, anyway! > Val, I've been on Cytomel for 17 days now, and although my ferritin is low, and I'm working on bringing it up, I am tolerating the cytomel well, it seems, as temps are stable, but steadily going up.
