I checked my multi vitamin, and it had potassium iodide in it! So I quit taking it. I was taking 6 per day, and they were 70 mcg per capsule of potassium iodide. Was this also contributing to rt3??? ugh!!!

Hi Margery, no I don't have Hashi's. Would that change your answer? thanks, S

Sorry, can't remember - do you have Hashi's? Val has said that even a little iodine makes her Hashi's antibodies skyrocket, from her post: http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/message/ 22099Here's another of Val's posts about iodine: http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/message/ 22099>> i am deficient in minerals. want to take a mineral supplement that was highly recommended. however, it contains > 100mcg of iodine. should i take this while treating a rt3 issue? thanks, s>
