You're reading it backwards. It says when these elements are deficient, then

your conversion will be lower.

And B-vitamins??? COME ON! We need that for energy!!! The zinc I also have

questions about...

They are a list of items which they consider a LACK OF cause poor

conversion, it's phrased as deficiencies.

Well guesw you are wrong. IODINE is NOT needed for converiosn. In fact

iodine is removed form T4 to make T3.

It's well-known, by everyone who knows anything about

metabolism, that we need the following to convert (make T4) T4 to T3:

Iodine

Selenium

D3

If this is wrong, then I don't know a single thing about

anything! :-)

As I read this I understand that a deficiency of the

nutrients in the list is the cause of bad/low T4 to T3 conversion.

i.e. Lack of selenium = bad/low conversion. Are you sure you are

reading this the right way round?

Ok folks...

So I just found this website and am SO confused.

It reads:

Factors That Cause an Inability to Convert T4 to T3

> Nutrient Deficiencies

- Chromium

- Copper

- Iodine

- Iron

- Selenium

- Zinc

- Vitamin A

- Vitamin B2

- Vitamin B6

- Vitamin B12

Are you serious? How could SELENIUM inhibit T4 conversion? I've read a

million articles about how selenium is NEEDED for Hashi's patients like

myself. And B-vitamins?? ? COME ON! We need that for energy!!! The zinc

I also have questions about...

anyone there have any knowledge on this?
