Guest guest
Hi everyone I am trying to figure out if I am hyperthyroid or not. I usually don't take cytomel the morning of my tests for FT3, etc, but now I am wondering if that is giving me false lower results on my tests I just posted these on the adrenal board, but here are my latest labs: I am wondering if the second (latest) result is because I might have mistakenly taken cytomel before the test. pre florinef: > > A couple of months ago, taking 80 mcg cytomel and 55 mg of HC > > T3-- 368 (rr 230-420) > sodium 139 ( rr 135-146) > Potassium 4.6 (rr 3.5-5.3) > one month ago-ish > taking 0.1 mg of florinef, 80 mcg cytomel, 35 mg HC > > T3--650 (rr 230-420) > sodium 138 (rr 230-420) > potassium 4.6 (rr 3.5-5.3) >
Guest guest
I take my T3 asusual the day before testing but NONE the AM of the test till after it. Peaks of T3 tell you nothign what you need to knwo is the steady serum state acheived by your odse which is steady at about 10-12 hours from last dose. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
