Guest guest
Val, Need help...feel terrible...jittery, out of breath, tingling in hands/feet even lips, extreme fatigue. Went to Dr. on 2/6/08. Salivary labs are pending, but here are results I have...also enclosed previous labs from Nov. Was in zone-7 AF at that time, and only taking DHEA and licorice per Dr. advice. Hopefully when I get my cortisol results back maybe I can convince Dr. to put me on HC. TSH .165 (.35-5.5) FT4 1.02 (.61-1.76) FT3 3.6 (2.3-4.2) Ferritin 29 (10-291) DHEA 94 (32-240) I have been on Floridex 30mg every day since late Oct. Have increased to 120-160mg since Friday, but my stomach is doing lousy, severe diarrhea, nausea. How can I absorb any iron with these problems??? What about iron injections? I'm waiting for my Dr. to return my call, so I would be so appreciative of any input from those who have had injections. Thanks so much, wrote: TSH .57 (.35-5.5) FT4 1.1 (.61-1.76) FT3 4.2 (2.3-4.2) Ferritin 48 (10-291) DHEA 35 (32-240) Probably from the Ferritin coming up you are utilizing the thyroid a bit better and converting well, but that high FREE T3 wiht the T4 that low tells me your coritol is still WAY too low. Your T3 is not getting ot the cells which is usually low cortiosl. You DHEA also needs to come up more as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
Your symptomsare form low cortisol. and possibly still low ferritin. Have you retested ot see if it has come up at all? You may need to find a differnt form of iron thqt agrees with you better. If taking thyroid it willmake these symtpoms WORSE so I would lower it. It can also crash weak unsuppored adrenals and for stage 7, Livcorice is not going to touch it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
