Hi Everyone

I finally got my saliva test results back from ZRT and am in a bit of

shock and confusion upon seeing these. They look crazy! I have to

wait

6 weeks for the consult with the pharmacist as she is on maternity

leave!

(I feel the women on this board know more than any dr I've seen

anyway!)

to reiterate quickly - I'm 43, in peri, fairly regular periods, have

had no surgeries, have been supplementing with E2, T, Armour 1 grain,

(for 6 months) and adrenal glandular(1 year)

I was taking P cream my osteopath wants me to take, high doses P,

along

with the E and T, but Stopped all P six weeks before the test because

of what I felt were nasty P overdose symptoms.

My main symptoms I have been wanting to correct are as follows, in

descending order:

1. fatigue

2. disrupted sleep - (no trouble falling asleep, just wake up several

times a nite, to toss and turn, then could go back to sleep around 5

to

7 am)

3. 15 pound weight gain in 6mos to 1 year

4. urinary incontinence

5. loss of sex drive

6. terrible acne and melasma

7. loss of muscle tone and strength

8. a lot of other lesser annoying issues that I will not list at this

time.

saliva test results:

Cortisol Morning 4.2 (3.7-9.5)range

Noon 1 (1.2 - 3)

Evening 0.8 (0.6-1.9)

Night 6.1 (0.4 - 1.0) Off the chart!!!

E2 217 pg/ml (0.8-12 range) when it says optimal is 1.5 - 3.5 !

P 474 pg/ml (75-270 )

T 436 pg/ml (16-55) !!!

DHEAs 5.0 ng/ml (2 - 23)

I had a free T3 blood serum level done a few months ago and it was on

the lowest end of acceptable .

free T3 was 2.65 mg/dl out of a (2.39 to 6.79 )range

Any experience and opinion is most appreciated. Thank you!!!

Christa

Saliva labs are not accurate for sex hormones if oyu are using creams or

sublingual so oyu need ot get serum labs to knwo what they are doing.

BUT I think your Estrogen will be high due to your low cortiosol. You

obviously need more than the adrenal supps you have been taking and I

would think HC would be what you need for the low cortiosl. And LOTS

more Armour.
