Guest guest
Have you tested RT3? On four grains Armour you SHOULD be feelign less hypo. RT3 seems to also cause fluid retention that nothing will touch except T3. The diziness I think is a pretty normal side efect when increasing Florinef i had it at each dose change uop or down, it is fluid balance changing. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
Not really, but it shows your RT3 a bit too high, so something is not working quite right. Your ratio is 17.8 and it should be at least 19. As your T4 is not too high in fact could go up a bit, I think AT THAT TIME you might have had too high cortiosl. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

In 2005 before cortisol and a diagnoses of AF,I tested out as follows: FT4-1.0___________0.9-1.8 FT3- 3.5___________2.3-4.2 The doctor wanted to lower my Armour and I left. On 3 gr Armour early 2006; FT4-0.9_________0.9-1.8 FT3-3.0_________2.0-3.5 early 2007 FT4-0.9_______0.9-1.8 FT3-4.3_______2.30-4.20 mid 2007:Serum 3 3/4 grain Armour, 20 cortef FT4-1.6__________0.9-1.8 FT3-7.00_________2.30-4.20 Saliva: 3 1/2grain Armour fT4 was .28 normal .17-.42 fT3 was .59 normal .28-1.10 I did do saliva testing in 2006 but, ignoring that, what if I just increased my Armour and get off of cortef. Or do I need to add a T4 only med along with Armour? I tried T3 meds, and I bottomed out on FT4 Cytomel only FT4-02____________0.58-1.64 FT3-5.56__________2.30-4.20 Thank you, KIM
Guest guest
mid 2007:Serum 3 3/4 grain Armour, 20 cortef FT4-1.6__________0.9-1.8 FT3-7.00_________2.30-4.20 This is wher your seruious problems began. T4 is too high an will cause RT3 which then blocks T3 and you are continueing to take it so Free T3 builds too high. I suspect at this point 20MG HC was not enough, and thyroid was too much. Saliva: 3 1/2grain Armour fT4 was .28 normal .17-.42 fT3 was .59 normal .28-1.10 This saliva confirms Rt3 problems as the Free T3 i snto able to enter the ccells though the T4 is perfect. Bottoming out on T4 is what oyu WANT to clear out RT3. Havign enough T3 in your body willk prevent ANY problems from the low T4. T4 is ONLY used to make T3 and RT3. It has no other purpose so if oyu have enough T3 then you really do not need T4. Have you checked Rt3 now ot see if it was cleared out? I would recommend that . -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
62.2mg Cytomel only Aug 14, 07 Tests T3 high 5.56 2.30-4.20 Ft4 low .02 .30-5.00 Probably needed a bit more Cytomel. WHen yoiu are relying on T3 for the sole thyroid supporrt I use the OLD lab ranges which go to 6.2.When I peaked and felt my bets on sttomel I did labs and came up with Free T3 of 6.19 and T4 at .26 I was unable to get my T4 any lower which simply means I have a slightly more thyroid activity of my own than you did. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
