Guest guest
I'm on 75 of elavil. I take it 2 1/2 hours before i need to be asleep. As long as I do that, I'm not too sleepy the next day. It took a good 2-4 weeks for me to adjust to the higher dose though. Personally, i don't think it's done a damn thing for my pain, but getting a sold 8 hours of sleep a night makes me that much better able to emotionally deal with the pain. It also reduces the tension that I'm told has been contributing to my pelvic floor problems. I plan on increasing it slowly. I hope it works at 50mg like it did for you. The side effects are tolerable for me. I take it early in the evening. I do feel sedated but I understand it lessens with time. And I take magnesium supplements for the constipation. Your email settings: Individual Email|Traditional Change settings via the Web (Yahoo! Guest guest
I took 50mg of Elavil for awhile. It didn't work. Then I took 1200mg Neurontin for two years, also didn't work. Hated the side effects of both. -------------- Original message -------------- I'm on 75 of elavil. I take it 2 1/2 hours before i need to be asleep. Guest guest
I have constant burning. It has lessened considerably since started a compounded estradiol/testosterone cream. I don't take pills any more. I also took Desiparmine, but that didn't work either. I used a bunch of different creams, I can't remember them all. Atropine. I also had traumeel injections into my vagina when I had pain with sex (only after an infection) 99% I can have sex without pain. --------- Re: Re: neurontin/elavil I took 50mg of Elavil for awhile.
