But still its got to be nice as a Philly to have them there and be able to cheer for them in the series. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay is doomed to sort of a Marlins fate even if they win. They have a very low payroll now but when the guys are eligible for free agency they won't be able to afford to keep them. Phillies are sort of in the middle at $98 million while the Rays are at $43 million. Nice to see the teams with the top three payrolls didn't even make the post season. Yankees at $209 million but without Joe Torre and fell apart.
