Hi ,

Most likely you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome/D which is fairly common

for fibromites. There is alos IBS/C and mixed like I have. Try and pay

attention to what you eat. Are you symtoms worse after eating milk

products or wheat? Lactose intolerance is a problem with milk and is

also common for us. Celiac disease is a problem with wheat and needs

special testing to confirm it.

take care,

I do know that alot of us have irritable bowel syndrome. This will cause

diarhhea. However, please get checked by a doctor because it can be other

things. That is the problem with this illness, it has so many symptoms that

sometimes we could have something else wrong with us and not know it. Hell, if

I got pain from some kind of cancer, I might just think it was fibro and let it

go.

Just be careful. If the diarrhea continues, please please seek some medical

attention to be sure it is not something really life threatening. And of course

having diarrhea all the time can be dangerous in itself. Loss of fluids and

electrolytes are nothing to play with. I would suggest that you be sure to

drink plenty of fluids and even maybe add in some gatorade or something with

electrolytes in it... (potassium, sodium, etc).

Take care,

hugs,

Debra V.

I had gastric by-pass. a pretty radical one and I have a serious problem

with the big " D " . Last night I woke up about every hour to an hour and a

half to go to the bathroom. My gastro says it's a permenant condition

related to my by-pass, but I also believe my fibro has a lot to do with it.

I have to watch what I eat and keep a supply on Immodium on hand.
