Hi

This is just to let you know that as of tomorrow I am being placed on

the transplant waiting list. The average wait is 50-60 days. My meld is

15. Please could those who do, pray for a successful outcome.

Also I wanted to recommend a book which I saw on this site but is worth

mentioning again. It is:

100 Questions & Answers about Liver Transplantation: A Lahey Clinic

guide. by Frederick D. Gordon MD. pub. & Bartlett.

I found it really helpful. Unlike some patient oriented stuff it is not

too simplistic, on the other hand it is not like some of the papers u

can read on this site which u need a science degree to understand!

It has a lot of really helpful info.

For Uk / outside US readers, it is available in the uk. Although some

of the info is aimed purely at Americans (like the need for a financial

co-odinator! I thank God i don't have to worry about the money for the

op.), most of it is relevant to everyone.

Tim (UK) psc 01 Uc 03 listed 1/07
